Genevieve is a Barrister practicing in Tauranga, where she has lived for the last 10 years. She was admitted to the bar in 2000 and has worked in New Zealand and Australia. Genevieve’s litigation experience includes insurance, construction, employment and criminal law. Genevieve has a particular passion for Sports Law and studied Sport Law at the University of Canterbury taught by New Zealand’s leading sports law academic, Elizabeth Toomey. Genevieve is currently the Rules Officer for Dressage NZ.

A practical and informative session on the basics of good Health and Safety practice for Dressage NZ groups , members and participants. This will include a summary of the current law and the new changes that are coming, followed by a workshop session to better understand how the law applies to the running of dressage groups and the events they run.

Dave has been working in the coaching arena for the past 30 years. He currently leads the CoachForce Team who are in the business of getting more and better coaches, coaching more often in the Bay of Plenty region. He is also developing the new Sport NZ Pathway to Podium (aimed at providing support for pre elite athletes) and Performance Coach Advance Programmes. He was the New Zealand National HP Squash Coach and the Squash NZ National Coaching Director and has worked with 9 World Champions and 8 Commonwealth Games medalists.

Nicola is the secretary for Dressage Tauranga and currently loving training her Ramazotti mare Lucy. Growing up on a farm, horses have been in her life as long as she can remember and it is this passion that she loves to combine with her knowledge of health and fitness.
Nicola is a qualified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition practitioner, Chek practitioner and has a degree in Physical Education and early in her career was a Les Mills group fitness instructor. This unique mix of knowledge and practical skills allow her to guide those who want to achieve lasting health.
